Casual Receptionist

Our Podiatry Group is seeking a dedicated Casual Receptionist who is motivated, friendly and enthusiastic to support our team. We are looking for someone who has great people skills and the ability to build strong rapport with patients.

This is a casual position with flexible work hours according to business needs. You must be available to work shifts on Mondays and Fridays between the hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm. There is also the possibility to work additional days of the week as required.

You will be based in our Dapto clinic but will be required to move across three of our clinics (Shellharbour, Dapto and Figtree) when needed. We are looking for someone who is flexible to take on additional hours to cover other staff members’ leave.

Responsibilities include:

• Front desk duties, including welcoming patients upon arrival, answering the phone and managing enquiries/appointments.
• Scan, file and digitally organise documents daily.
• Clerical Duties (collect payments, issue receipts and manage billing inquiries).
• Assist Podiatrists and other clinic staff with administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

About you:

• A customer-focused attitude with a friendly, positive approach.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, referring Doctors and suppliers.
• An eye for detail.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise.
• A proactive approach, capable of using initiative and working autonomously as well as in a team.
• Previous administration experience is desired but not essential.

The Position:

• Casual 1-3 days per week with the possibility of becoming part-time in 2025.
• Based in our clinic in Dapto but shifts can range across the Dapto, Figtree and Shellharbour clinics (access to own car an advantage).
• Regular progress catch-ups.

• Work closely with an administration team of 5 other permanent team members, based at different sites (Dapto, Figtree, Shellharbour, Erskineville and Burwood).
